A non-refundable damage waiver of $55 per night (capped at $500) is charged to cover loss of the vessels inventory or minor damage to the vessel (excluding groundings).
A $2,500 grounding bond is held on a valid, nominated card by the charterer or crew upon check in on the day of departure. Upon return of the vessel, a contract diver will inspect the hull. If the report is returned with no damage to the hull, it will be released 5-7 days after your charter. Alternatively, it will be processed if there are any reports of your vessel running aground whilst you're on charter.
An Environmental Management Charge (EMC) applies to each visitor entering the marine park. The total fee is $39 per person payable prior to entering the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
An additional surcharge will be applicable for services provided on public holidays including Stay Aboards ($100), Briefings ($200), and 100% increased daily rates for Sail Guides, Skippers and Hosts.
